We only use latex balloons which are made from 100% natural latex — not plastic. These balloons are biodegradable, and decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard!

As soon as you put a balloon outside in the sun it starts to bio degrade, this causes the balloon to loose its shine and become softer, due to this effect balloon displays are always at their best on the day of installation.

Latex balloons come from rubber trees. Latex is collected by cutting the tree’s bark, then catching the latex in a cup. Latex harvesting doesn’t hurt the tree!

Latex balloons are Earth-friendly! Rubber trees grow in rain forests. Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years!

If the sound of a balloon popping startles you, you’re not alone. A bursting balloon actually creates a small sonic boom! Once a hole is made in an inflated balloon, the quick release of the balloon’s energy, or air, causes the hole to grow at almost the speed of sound in rubber. Since this speed is much higher than the speed of sound in air, the hole in the balloon actually breaks the sound barrier, creating a sonic boom.

Balloons were invented in 1824, the same year as the electromagnet.

Helium-filled balloons float because helium is lighter than nitrogen and oxygen, the two components of air.

A helium filled 11 inch balloon will float for approximately 12 - 18 hours depending on the conditions, for longer float times we treat 

the balloons with Hi Float a glue like substance that coats the inside of the balloon increasing its float time by up to 20 times.

Larger balloons will float for longer periods, all balloons if untreated start to deflate as soon as they are inflated dut to the molecules of helium being small enough to pass through the latex of the balloon.

1 - Keep balloons secured to a weight.

All helium-filled balloons should be tied securely to a weight that will keep them from releasing into the air. Be sure to individually tie each balloon to the weight, so if they become detached from the weight, they will be individual rather than “clustered” (tied together) balloons which can more easily become entangled in power lines.

2 - Do Not release balloons in to the air

Although it is very rare, problems can occur if they become tangled in power lines and they can turn into roadside litter if not disposed of properly.

3 - Keep deflated or popped latex balloons away from children to avoid risks of choking.

Children can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons; adults should always supervise young children—especially those under eight years old—with balloons.

4 - Although it rarely occurs, some people are known to have allergic reactions to latex balloons

Latex balloons are made of natural rubber latex and are biodegradable, but may cause allergic reactions in people who are allergic to natural rubber latex.
